JEROEN VAN DER VEER JOINS PRORSUM'S BOARD
He is a strong promoter of the energy transition, which he has shown through his past work as Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of World Business Council for Sustainable Development, at the New Energy Architecture Council of the WEC and as Chairman of the Rotterdam Climate Initiative.
He has been strong supporter of sustainable innovation, chairing the ‘Platform Beta Techniek’, a governmental institute promoting education in science and technology, as member of the Supervisory Council of the Delft University of Technology and through his work as member of the Executive Committee of the Governing Board of the EIT.
Jeroen has strongly advocated for the need to not only to upscale our current economic systems, but to rescale them in order to effectively tackle the global challenges ahead of us. He believes the private sector needs to play a key role in the achievement of the SDGs, and that firms should do so by focusing on effectively impacting a specific goal number rather than all at once, while effectively and transparently reporting on their impact.
We believe Jeroen will bring invaluable knowledge to support the growth of our investments and are happy to welcome him to the team.
We are happy to announce Jeroen van der Veer has just joined the Prorsum AG's team as new member of our Board.
Jeroen brings in decades worth of experience in the energy and infrastructure sector as former CEO of Royal Dutch Shell, former Chairman of the New Energy Architecture Council of the World Economic Forum and current Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of Boskalis Westminster and Equinor.
As well as valuable experience as current Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of Royal Philips, former Chairman of ING and former Vice-Chairman and Senior Independent Director of Unilever.
